IGP Ingenieur GmbH reaches important milestone on the “FOUR Frankfurt” project

At 233 metres, FOUR Frankfurt will have the highest office floors in Germany with a unique view over the banking metropolis and the Taunus hills. Three further high-rise buildings of 178, 120 and 100 metres as well as a base development and a four-storey underground car park complete the new quarter. Groß & Partner commissioned IGP Ingenieur GmbH 2021 to supervise the construction of towers T1 and T4. Construction work began in 2021 with the concreting of the base slab and preparations for the building construction. Three of the four towers have already reached their full height. Completion of the entire project is planned for 2025.

After a topping-out ceremony lasting several days in September, the anchor tenant was able to move into the smallest of the four towers in October. The construction work on T4 was supervised by IGP Advantag subsidiary IGP Ingenieur GmbH. Despite supply bottlenecks during the coronavirus pandemic and the ongoing crisis in the construction industry, the project was successfully completed.

“We are delighted that our team has reached this important milestone together with Groß & Partner and that we can now concentrate on the work on RT1. As IGP Ingenieur GmbH, we are responsible for the construction management of two of the tower blocks. Now we have to continue to successfully realise the tight schedule together with the clients,” explains Christian Werner, Managing Director of IGP Ingenieur GmbH.

IGP Ingenieur GmbH will continue to be involved in the realisation of this project of the century by supervising the construction of T1, the tallest tower in the ensemble. Completion of T1 is scheduled for the end of 2024.
