IGP Ingenieur GmbH responsible for the construction management of the Grand Green Hotel Oberhof

IGP Ingenieur GmbH has implemented a special order in the past months: Stefan Ehgartner’s team was commissioned in Oberhof, right on the edge of the Thuringian Forest, as support with project and schedule coordination in the final phase of the construction process for the new Grand Green Hotel. The 4-star superior hotel with extensive spa and sauna world as well as gourmet cuisine will offer its guests the perfect family vacation here in the future. With lots of fun and games for the little ones, while the adults can retreat to relax.
The special feature of the Grand Green Familux Resort is its nature-based orientation. A location with special historical significance was chosen for the resort, harmoniously nestled between the town square and the vast forests of the Rennsteig. “We are pleased that we were able to support the Mayer hotelier family in the realization of this heartfelt project,” explains Stefan Ehgartner, adding, “Because both the location and the facilities make the hotel, which is especially tailored to families with children, something very special.”
IGP Ingenieur GmbH helped to ensure that all construction measures for the hotel complex were coordinated and professionally executed by the latest set target date. The result was 105 family suites and 11 chalet units. The highlight for the younger guests is the entertainment area, which offers an indoor go-kart track, soft play facilities, a separate cinema, a virtual reality room, a bathing and sauna area with a slide park. In addition, a ski practice and diaper ski slope was created in the outdoor area, as well as a nature trail and outdoor play areas.
