New construction of a 4-star congress hotel
The project originated as a rescheduling of an investment ruin from the 90’s. The original design is by Aldo Rossi. The abandoned reinforced concrete shell shaped the cityscape for almost ten years. The new congress hotel comprises 557 rooms and suites, a 550 m² wellness area with a relaxation terrace, various restaurants and bars as well as an event area for meetings and trade fairs. In the five lower floors are among others an underground car park with 550 car parking spaces and a bus garage with a bus elevator.

The IGP Ingenieur AG was commissioned by the client from the beginning of the project development as project controller and later also took over the service phases for tendering, contracting and construction management.
