Porsche Stuttgart
The paint shop has three levels. Beginning on the second floor, first pretreatment and cathodic dip painting are carried out. For the next process steps, the bodies are transported to the ground floor. Here the sealing work on the bodies takes place in the PVC area. In addition, at this level paint lab, paint mixing room, maintenance workshop and ancillaries are installed. On the first floor, the Porsche model series 911, Boxster and Cayman are painted. In a 100% dust-proof process, the filler, basecoat and clearcoat are applied in sequence.
The new facility has a daily capacity of up to 170 vehicles in two-shift operation. In total, around 200 million euros will be invested in the future at the Zuffenhausen headquarters.
IGP Completing Projects was commissioned with the object monitoring of this demanding industrial construction.
