Project description
The Steigenberger Hotel Hamburg, a ***** hotel, is located in the centre of the Hanseatic city of Hamburg on a Fleetinsel, nestled between an Alsterfleet and public square Fleetmarkt. It belongs to Deutsche Hospitality, which owns Steigenberger Hotels, lntercity Hotels and Jaz Hotels. The building was constructed in 1993 and is owned by Union Investment Real Estate GmbH.
The refurbishment will be carried out in two phases while the hotel continues to operate. All public areas and the guest rooms will be refurbished. The existing building protection, including fire protection, is to be maintained as far as possible. Most of the technical building equipment has exceeded its service life and is therefore to be completely renewed and overhauled as part of a core refurbishment. Safety-relevant plant components will be renewed in accordance with the applicable regulations.
