Project description
The construction measure comprises the ensemble of ‘Treptowers’ – the former Allianz headquarters in Berlin in the Treptow/Köpenick district. The prominent tower was detached from this ensemble and is excluded from the revitalization when in operation.
The new building consists of 10-storey blocks and 6-storey rows dating from the construction period 1994-1997. The new buildings consist largely of reinforced concrete structures with curtain-type natural stone facades and areas with P-R facades. Together with the embankment wall, the blocks and rows form 9 interior courtyards.
The two-story underground parking garage extends under the old and new buildings with accesses via Elsenstraße and Martin-Hoffmann-Straße.
