Ralf Förderer

In July 2022, Mr. Ralf Förderer was appointed Managing Director of IGP Technik GmbH, as well as Authorized Representative and Branch Manager West of IGP Ingenieur GmbH – both companies in the group of IGP ADVANTAG AG.

Ralf Förderer has been working in the construction and real estate industry for more than 30 years and has successfully developed, supervised and realized complex large-scale construction projects and quarters in leading positions.

The experienced architect therefore calls himself a “skilled principal” as his professional title. He leads the development, planning, realization and operation of complex building projects with a comprehensive understanding of real estate economics.

From his extensive project list, major construction projects such as SAT1 broadcasting center, Staatstheater Mainz, Catholic University of Applied Sciences, Römerpassage, Rheingoldhalle extension, Hilton and Hyatt International, Thales Germany as well as other diverse administrative, commercial, hotel and residential properties stick out.

In the literal sense, high-rise buildings in prominent locations in Frankfurt am Main, the hotel and residential high-rise “140 West” and the head quarter of the FAZ, the so-called “FAZ Tower”, stand out. His comprehensive expertise in high-rise buildings is rounded off by his consulting services for other high-rise buildings in Düsseldorf, Berlin and Stuttgart.

His profile was sharpened in staff positions, departmental and divisional management, e.g. the construction department of MAG and the “Divisional Management of Residential Construction” at the renowned project developer Groß & Partner in Frankfurt am Main, as well as through appraisal activities, acquisition audits and due diligence procedures.

Already in the 90s, Mr. Förderer developed sustainable building services systems together with the University of Karlsruhe “…in fact, we were considered exotic at that time, but the way was right then as it is now…”, Mr. Förderer continues “our architects and engineers are ready to develop innovations and sustainable solutions. Our job is to remind them of that…”. Consequently, most of the projects have “LEED” or “DGNB” Gold status and so it is also logical that Mr. Förderer was significantly involved in the project planning of the first timber hybrid high-rise in Frankfurt am Main, the “Timber Pioneer”.

Stefan Ehgartner, co-managing director of IGP – Technik, and Mr. Förderer have already been working together for several years and in a wide variety of project constellations in a spirit of trust. Mr. Ehgartner and the entire management team of IGP are therefore extremely pleased to be able to welcome Mr. Förderer as a management colleague.

Stefan Ehgartner confirms this: “He will ideally use his competences, his experience and leadership in the interface between project development, general planning and marketing. Sustainability is not a fad for him, and thus he fits perfectly into the forward-looking corporate philosophy of the IGP Group.
