Stefan Ehgartner (picture left), Managing Director of IGP Ingenieur GmbH, and Uwe Gräf (picture right), Managing Director of Gräf Hotel- und Objektausstattung GmbH, are strong partners with a great potential to expand benefits for their joint customers.

IGP Ingenieur GmbH, a subsidiary of IGP Advantag, took over all shares in Gräf Gardinen und Raumausstattungs GmbH in December 2022.

Now Uwe Gräf, who continues to manage the company, joins the IGP Ingenieur GmbH team with its 80 employees.

Uwe Gräf, innovation driver and guarantor for success.

As a person in the hotel equipment business, he is an innovation driver and guarantor for the success of hotels. His ideas and network, his innovation scouts in the field of equipment and trend-setting hotel comfort as well as his passion for the hotel industry for 40 years, are an exception in the market.

Leveraging market positions. Uwe Gräf’s advancement of hotel segments such as congress and conference hotels forms its own branches that are growing in importance and need for the economy. IGP Ingenieur GmbH can also find and expand new ways in the future.

Major international hotel providers such as Best Western, Hilton, Kempinski, Steigenberger, Wyndham and many others rely on the expertise of the hotel specialist, who sets innovative standards in the industry from the idea to the finished hotel.

The perfect partner. IGP Ingenieur GmbH occupies a unique position in the market in its wide-ranging segment. IGP Ingenieur GmbH stands for goal-oriented project and construction management.

The company supervises, coordinates and takes over the – project control – general planning and – construction management for real estate from almost all segments of construction during the entire planning and construction process.

IGP Ingenieur GmbH – strategically well positioned in Germany.

IGP Ingenieur GmbH has offices in Berlin, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt/Main and Munich. From there, it manages major projects throughout Germany. The company’s focus is on solution-, cost- and target-oriented project realization with its own highly qualified teams and a strong network. Construction projects of all sizes in the areas of hotels, residential quarters, industrial enterprises, infrastructure, offices, culture and education, health such as hospitals, rehabilitation and care facilities comprise the services of IGP.

The goal of the partnership – the consistent expansion of the IGP hotel division with Gräf Hotel- und Objektausstattung.

Uwe Gräf: “Our complementary focal points also deliver further advantages for our customers in terms of quickly deliverable quality and creativity thanks to the close-knit interlocking cooperation. The know-how transfer with the different construction areas within IGP inspires our ideas. Our focus is on – refurbishment of 4- and 5-star hotels in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, both in ongoing operation and as core refurbishment.”

“full service”, the unique selling point.

Through their merger, the two companies can now offer hotel owners a “full service” from a single source:

From 1: architectural concept for the refurbishment, 2: the implementation planning, technical planning and project planning, to 3: purchasing, project management, site supervision and installation, to 4: handover of keys with a fixed price and a fixed deadline promise.

Refurbishment – the trend in the coming years.

Stefan Ehgartner: “Through the takeover, we can use the competence of Uwe Gräf and his team.
of Uwe Gräf and his team with our expertise.

‘One Stop Shop’, also for healthcare real estate.

To support the real estate market, we can offer our customers all solutions as a ‘One Stop Shop’.

Our new expertise in refurbishment could also be particularly exciting for our focus on healthcare properties. This is because it allows us, for example, to refurbish care facilities and hospitals during ongoing operations without restricting patient care.” Here, we rely on the experience of Gräf Hotel- und Objektausstattung.

Hotels and healthcare properties: project planning and implementation of refurbishments down to the smallest detail.
